You complete the online application, we talk on the phone, you come out to meet the horse, we check references and your facility, and we do a trial match. Start to finish is usually two to four weeks.
Adoption fees vary by horse and cover a portion of the vet, farrier, training and rehabilitation costs we've put into that horse. We'll quote you the fee up front — nothing hidden.
We prioritize placements within BC and Alberta where we can reasonably do a home visit and stay in touch. Out-of-province placements are considered case-by-case. We do not export horses to the United States.
It depends entirely on the horse. Some of our horses are suited to confident beginners; others need experienced handlers only. We'll match you to a horse that fits your real experience — not the experience you wish you had.
Every horse gets a full vet workup, dental, farrier visit, and a minimum 30-day evaluation period on the ground and, where appropriate, under saddle. We write up an honest temperament and training report for each horse.
